Welcome to the TMX - Monthly Track Contest February 2023

THEME
bottleneck reloaded
Tracks which make use of wide sections that narrow and then widen again


RULES

• Submissions must include at least 4 sections in which the route narrows to a width of less than one half of a block wide for at least two blocks, before becoming wider again.


• The narrow sections of the route must not all be identical, in other words, must not use the same surface for the route with the same walls and same curve/slope.


• The player's speed must not be required to be reduced significantly for the narrow sections.

IMPORTANT

• Topic rule: Make only 1 post for your released entry, using any track link


• Track rule: Name your track "(MTC) TrackName" (for ex: "MTC - Let's play a game")


• (the track names MUST include the tag "MTC" here on TMX)


• Competition rule: Already existing tracks (released or in the beta area) are not allowed


• Do NOT edit your entry track AFTER the deadline has been reached.

JUDGING SYSTEM

• Creativity - 10 Points possible
  
we judge: how well was the theme realized, the creativity, the route, the concept, the overall track ...[/item]

• Fun - 10 Points possible
  
we judge : the hunting potential, the player-friendly factor, the challenges, the smoothness ...[/item]

• Overall Looks - 10 Points possible
  
we judge : the overall scenery design, the visual moments, the Intro / In-game / Outro MT ...[/item]

DEADLINE
The track submission deadline is Feb 28th, 2023
(You have to submit your entries between and including the 1st and the 28th of this month)

PRIZE
The Winner gets a showcase track of his/her choosing, on the Frontpage
and, of course, the pride and respect you get within the community for winning a MTC

Some of you may wonder already... this was the theme one year ago!
Yes! One year ago TMX was down and the MTC was hosted through discord and many of you have missed a couple of MTCs. The theme for Feb was in my opinion so cool that it is worth to bring it back to a wider audience and we also never got results for last year.

Special rule:
If you participated last year already you can choose to submit a new track or the one that was submitted last year already!
