Welcome to the 13th edition of the User Choice Awards. Founded and started by in 2009 the event quickly gained fame. The edition from 2010 was hosted by with some assistance from . In 2011 and 2012 took care in organizing the event. In the years 2013 and 2014, , hosted the event. In 2015 and in 2016 took care of the UCA. The previous two editions were hosted by in 2017 and in 2018. In 2019 the host was and in 2020 it was hosted by . Today in 2023, after a break of three years, I've decided to put some activity back into this part of the forum!

The first step of this project is the nomination phase. Every one of you will be able to select a few users in each category. In the second half of january, you will then have the opportunity to select a single user among the most nominated ones.



💥 Please remember that these awards are about the year 2023 only! 💥

For the nomination phase, we'll be handling these rules:
o Voting for yourself is completely forbidden.
o You may vote several times for the same user.
o For each category, you can select up to 3 users. You can of course select less or even skip some categories.
o Every vote that does not match the category definition will be ignored so please read carefully.

* If you do have doubts about a certain category, a definition or a rule, do not hesitate to ask. You can do so by posting in this topic.

How to nominate people:
You'll see a list below with all the categories. Make sure to read the definitions carefully and copy the list that you find in the 3rd post. Paste that list in a PM, fill in your nominees and send it to . If everything is done, name your PM "xx - UCA nominations" whereas 'xx' is your own name. You can edit your PM to change your votes but make sure yo do PM me again or I'll likely miss your edit and only take your previous votes into account.

Deadline:
The deadline is set to Saturday, 20th of January 2023. Afterwards we will start the final voting phase.

o Best Technical Builder: selects the best technical builder from 2023

o Best Fullspeed Builder: selects the best fullspeed builder from 2023

o Best Dirt Builder: selects the best dirt builder from 2023

o Best RPG Builder: selects the best RPG builder from 2023

o Best Trial Builder: selects the best Trial builder from 2023

o Best Lol Builder: selects the best Lol builder from 2023

o Best PX Builder: selects the best Press-X builder from 2023

o Best overall builder: selects the best overall builder from 2023. Selects the builder who made the best tracks in several styles

o Newcomer of the year: rewards a new face of the site. Builders in this category must have released one track or less before the year 2023.

o Best creative mapper: gives an award to the builder who makes excellent tracks even with his eyes closed. He is able to connect every trackpart to another, he thinks way outside the normal box and still, he creates nice tracks.

🍃 Creationairy: 🍃

o Best Screenshot Maker: selects the best graphical artist from 2023, he should have at least 5 screens made in 2023.

o Best Mediatracker Maker: selects the user who proves to be really good in the MediaTracker. Make sure you know some examples from him made in 2023.

o Best Video Producer: selects the user who produced the nicest and coolest videos in 2023.

o Best Scenery Maker: selects the user who managed to create a great atmosphere in his tracks in 2023.

o Best Tech track of the year: selects the best Tech track, made in 2023.

o Best Fullspeed track of the year: selects the best Fullspeed track, made in 2023.

o Best Dirt track of the year: selects the best Dirt track, made in 2023.

o Best Trial/RPG track of the year: selects the best Trial/RPG track, made in 2023.

o Best Lol track of the year: selects the best Lol track, made in 2023.

o Best PX track of the year: selects the best PX track, made in 2023.

o Project of the year: selects the best project held in 2023

o Trackmania Legend Award: This award can only be won once in a persons TM(X) career, therefore you cannot vote for either , , , , , , , , & , , , or , since they have won the award already.

o Trackmania Helping Hand: select the most helpful user of the year 2023.

o Friendliest Face On TMX: selects the person who used to be friendly all the time, no matter what happens.

o Most Active User: selects the person who seems to live in a fuel station that is open 24/7. He pops up almost everywhere at anytime.

o Mr. Trackmania: selects the user who appears to know every driver, every builder, the secrets at every trackstyle and on top of all he also knows what goes through the entire site.

o Comeback of the year: We had some comebacks in 2023, so this category absolutely makes sense - which user came back from a longer period of inactivity in 2023 (meaning that he didn't upload a map in 2022) and had an awesome comeback?

o TMX Lifetime Achievement: selects the user that has been on TM(X) for a long time and is still almost or even more active in here than you are yourself. This award can only be won once in a TM(X) career, therefor you cannot vote for either (2009 winner), (2010 winner), (2011 winner), (2012 winner), (2013 winner), (2014 winner), (2015 winner), (2016 winner), (2017 winner), (2018 winner), (2019 winner) or (2020 winner) since they are past winners..

Looks like i forgot a category for the best PX builder of the year - I just added it !

Should we be able to vote based on 2021-2023 as two years were skipped? Just an idea ^^

I already thought about that rule, but it will instantly cancel some category like the Newcomer of the Year or the Best Comeback of the Year.

It's better if we stay on the 2023 Year only. It will be also better for the current active community because some "new" users from 2022/2023 will probably prefer voting for 2023 usere/tracks and a lot of insane tracks from 2021 will be forgotten.

I'm sad for 2021 and 2022 Years, I should've organize it, but I was busy with my studies...

Now I've a bit more free time, I'll to organize more events and make the community a bit more active again
