On this episode of "This track probably isn't for you! (but you'll enjoy the video)": Decimation - a 188 checkpoint trial where the last checkpoint gets you stuck definitively upon respawning. You heard that right, the last checkpoint spawns on a platform inside a road hole.
We tried our best making this one playable for all trial players, balancing it so that the only real challenge is the shere length of it (and the pressure at last cp). That doesn't mean all the cps are easy however. Just know that it's not representive of its "Extreme"-rating just from cp difficulty alone.
This track is massive yet still full of inventive trackbuilding. I'm so glad to have been part of its creation. I appreciate both of my co-authors greatly, they are both incredible builders and great guys so it was a pleasure to work with them!

Well there it is, the longest trial track to date. What's funny is that Nixion mentioned before that he'd like to build another map like Intergalactic and I said I could help him with that, the next day simo asked me if I want to build something like Intergalactic with him. So we three teamed up and started working on this at decemeber 31. It was a lot of fun, so much fun that I wished it would never end. these two guys are awesome builders.
Unintendedly I realized that this map kind of leads an altpath at Igntul's "Something On..." trilogy. After Heaven's on Fire it strays to Intergalactic - a harder and longer map, instead of Oachkatzlschwoaf. And now it moves to Decimation instead of Acid, which also has an obscure theme. I thought this is an interesting fact.
I know 188 checkpoints with no rings are absolutely ridiculous. But in my opinion every checkpoint has something special to offer and is different from the other. if you are skilled, patient and passionate about trial tracks, you will definitely enjoy this!

Heaven's on fire is red, Intergalactic is blue. Combine red and blue and you get purple. Cool huh? Here it is, ladies and gentlemen. The long awaited Intergalactic 2, the new longest trial and map in trackmania. No matter how good you are, your chances of finishing this are very low. The average CP difficulty might not be too high, but 188 checkpoints are a damn lot! First run for an experienced trial player is estimated to be over 2 days, atleast. However, there is the prizepool of 100k coppers, a gold tag and much glory for the first finisher. How much are you willing to sacrifice?
